Just a quick picture-intensive guide showing how to replace the battery inside the 992 key. I had to change mine recently, and had to hunt a bit for the info needed to be comfortable doing it myself without breaking anything, so figured this might be of help to others down the road.

Hi @Tom ,
Many thanks for the guidelines.
Quick question: I do not have Panic button at the back of my keys and I assume this is not available for EU models when you order it.
Do you know if we can add it?
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, I don't know, but would think the car also needs to be programmed to react to that button? I'd assume a dealer 'could' sell you a key and update the car to deal with it, but kind of doubt they 'would.' Just curious why you'd want one? American cars all seem to come with them and they are mostly triggered by accident and/or by people who can't find their call at the mall....ggsf wrote: Tue Apr 05, 2022 12:41 pm Hi @Tom ,
