Hi Folks, could use some help identifying a bolt in a diagram that doesn't list the part number.
The screw is #10 in this diagram:
https://www.delawareporscheparts.com/v- ... im-pillars
I was going through process of securing my side scoops with screws in our Spyder, and noticed there's a screw missing from the front bracket to secure the rocker to the bracket on the driver's side; while it's there on the passenger side. I have test fitted a torx screw that may work, but diagram shows a hex bolt instead, so wanted to keep it OEM spec.
It's odd though: the way it's situated there's no way anyone working on the car would have taken that out. It's not easily accessible and not needed to remove the rocker or anything around it. I'm the second owner, but I highly doubt anything was modified there. Makes me think it was missed during assembly or something.

Looks like it might be #12 in the parts PDF I have. If so it is 999-073-505-01.

My hero, thank you!
Looks very similar (if not the same) as the fender liner screws (T25 and T30) all around.
I learned not to trust diagram screw parts, they rarely appear correct...
But I think all 718's are the same, that front bracket and rockers are consistent across years and models.
Where can one download/purchase the parts/maintenance book, etc. like what you have?
Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure I downloaded from Porsche, but that was over 3 years ago. I don't find anything like it on Porsche's site now. Mine only covers 2017-19 4 cyl. models, but much is the same through the entire model run.
