I just picked up a set of 930 Fuchs for my 951 and was wondering what people are running for rear tires on a 930 now days. I cannot find any matching sets anymore and virtually no 245/45r16s for that matter. I was planning on going 225/50 front and 245/45 rear.

You might consider calling Luke Pavlik at the Tire Rack ( ext.#4362 ) as he is a diehard Autocrosser and Trackrat and has been at the Rack for over 25 years. Many of us, regardless of vehicle have changed to a tire similar to what came on the car yet a bit wider or maybe even lower profile. Best of luck and Luke can help you with your quest.

You can get Pirelli P7 (N marked Classic) in those sizes from several US distributors.
For example:

Thank you both, I’ll give Luke a call sometime soon.
@Arne2, I saw those but was hoping for something a bit more “modern”performance since this isn’t a show car. The P7, I believe is a replica of a vintage tire, unless I am very mistaken.

My understanding is that the current P7 Classic is modeled after the original, but with modern compounding and some internal updates. The now carry the current N marking for Porsches. Everyone I've chatted with on these (both in person and online) likes them a lot.
You have to remember that not only is the 245/45-16 an obsolete size, it was never common or popular to begin with. Pretty much fitted only to a few high-end Porsches. So the demand for such is pretty limited today. And as you've found, not many offer a matching 225/50-16, as the most common fitment was on 930s, and most of those had the smaller 205/55-16 on the front.

For those that may have not seen the other thread. The Yokohama A008P's are a good option as well.
