Here is an alternative to two sheet metal screws in our bumpers to affix out rear license plate to our Cayenne 9Y0.2. This mount uses the two factory receptacles in the bumper. Chris from the https://yourlittlecncshop.com/ took all the necessary measurements from my 2025 Cayenne and promptly delivered the mount, and all the necessary mounting screws. The mount fits snugly against the bumper. There are also two spacers to allow the mount to sit about 2mm off the bumper if you are worried about scratches. The mount fits well with or without the spacers. I will try using some silicone caulk to fill the sheet metal screw holes provided by my dealer. Thank you Porsche NA. Please contact Chris at Your Little CNC Shop to order yours. https://yourlittlecncshop.com/

License plate mounts and the collateral damage (dealer sheet metal screws???) just don't quite fit with modern Porsche style or quality image. In my opinion anyway. Buyers need to alert dealers that such things aren't quite acceptable. Just little too much like an afterthought, a 'hack' if you will. At least use NutSerts/RivNuts, and prep/rustproof the holes after drilling. Or Just don't "drill baby drill!" in the first place.

I'm not sure how many new cars the local dealer here actually sells. Immediate population is about 110k, but there's a local rumor that this area has the highest per-capita Porsche density in the country. A rumor. How do we place a Carpokes-labeled plate mount on every car they sell? Plates arrive a few weeks after a sale, time enough for some exposure?

My feeble memory harkens back to my very early years, when my dad ordered a specific car, with the strict guidance that there would be no dealer emblems installed on his new car. When they presented the car at delivery, he politely told them that "... that wasn't his car." They had the option to pay for his billboarding for the dealer, but it was going to cost them. The managed to find and swap new rear sheetmetal from another similar car. From the days when emblems were drilled and not glued.
