I am planning to burn my own DME chip as part of some changes I've been making. I already have several stock 951 BIN files, but am hoping to collect more BIN files to use for comparison, including original factory images as well as performance chips from companies now out of business (so as not to undermine existing suppliers). If anyone has any BINs they can share, I'd very much appreciate it. Would be good to know who made the chip and for what car, along with any non-stock parts it was mapped to use (e.g., 3 BAR FPR, bigger injectors, MAF, etc.). Let me know what you have. Thanks!

Hi Tom - I have a stock 1986 24 pin dme bin downloaded from the internet a couple it years back.

I have a couple of copies and ran one in my 951 for a bit with no issues.

Can't upload .bin files to Carpokes. I could change to a .jpg if that is better.

Mike

Did you mean to attach a file?

Yes - but website blocked .bin extensions. Tried changing name to DOTbin with no extension and that didn't work either.

Let me see if I can edit the board settings to allow BIN files. Stay tuned.

Can you try again now? Just added .bin to the list of attachable file types.

Just compared this to the 24-pin version I had and it is identical down to the last byte. Thanks for posting! I will pull the bin off my factory 24 pin chip and see if it is also identical.

Hi Tom, thanks for the invite. What do you plan to change in your chip?
Here's a few sites you may find useful;
Tunerpro.net has TunerProRT and the bins with definition files. Also check out https://tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm#Porsche

I'm using a chip emulator from BoostedNW.com see https://boostednw.com/motronicrt
You will need to convert your DME to use 28 pin chips, it doesn't work with 24 pin chips. This device is very useful when paired up with TunerProRT- you can plug your laptop into your DME and upload changes in realtime.

I also have some old notes from FRWilk's site that have more detail if you really want to dig into the code. Just let me know.
