Where does the wire for the odometer reset button mounted near the vent frame on a late 944 exit the main trunk of the harness?
Thanks -

It's the brown wire with yellow stripe on pin 17 of Edge Connector B behind the dash. See all about it here:

Thanks Tom -
That is an excellent writeup and video!! Further clarification though...I see where pin 17 is on the middle connector and all that is good. Once the wire disappears into the harness, approximately where does it remerge to go over to the physical switch clipped into the dash?
I copied the schematic pic in just for reference. I cannot find my switch anywhere (dash was out of the car when I got it), so I can't find it anywhere to reattach it. I thought I would start by finding where it should exit the harness itself.
It looks like it might be in the trunk that cuts across the HVAC to the cigar lighter area, but not sure.

I can't find a great picture of it, but it has to branch out fairly close to the connector B wiring bundle. See pic below showing how close they are... and where I'd 'think' the actual branch point must be. Note that the reset wires are wrapped in a smooth plastic sheath, rather than cloth tape, so that might make it easier to fine.
