I had the prior version on my 718 Cayman (until I upgraded from 19" to 20"). No complaints, they seemed to be fine tires.

I cannot speak to the Sport 02 tire but I had good service from a set of Extreme Contact DWS 06 Ultra Hi-Po All-Season on a 2014 Cayenne Turbo eight or so years ago. I like Continental tires for whatever that observance might be worth.

Thanks for that input and, since this is your first post, I'll also add "Welcome to Carpokes"!TripleD wrote: Fri Mar 22, 2024 3:18 pm I had the last generation on a BMW M235. They felt about the same at the Michelin Pilot Sport that I had on my Boxster. They also wore at about the same rate. A plus is the Conti's generally are a little less expensive.

I have the previous version currently on my 2014 Cayman. Great tire. The PS4S where in short supply when I needed new tires, the tire shop recommended those, plus they were cheaper and also a promotion was going. I’m glad I went with them.

Interestingly, the new Cayenne S that we just got came with Continental Sport Contact 7 Performance Summer (Porsche N-spec "NC0"). 285/40-ZR315 & 315/40-ZR22. Only 53 miles on the odometer so not much to go on yet, but they were quiet, especially for large tires and like JamesBond mentioned, had a very steady, sure-footed feel. Continental makes a great tire.
