Hi there first time poster here. This is my 2002 996TT it has just under 74k miles and is Tiptronic and runs great. This is the first automatic “Fun” car I have ever purchased and I don’t regret it. I am in the process of researching stereo options for my car. I have the factory PCM 1 cassette head unit with navigation module in dash, Bose speakers and subwoofer and CD changer. I really like the porsche classic option. My only complaint is that there is no input for rear view camera. This my 5th Porsche and my favorite so far. It’s my dream car really. I have been after a TT for a long time and had the opportunity to pick this car up a year ago today

I have an Arctic Silver 2003 996 and a year ago I had the dealer install the new PCM+ which includes GPS, apple car play/android auto and satellite radio. The unit works perfectly and is very useful when travelling through our mountains out west ( BC and Alberta ). We travel through Canada and the US so this unit is extremely useful both for entertainment and directions.
Cheers

I had a 2003 996 TT which I bought in 2006 as a return lease with 32k miles. It was a daily driver, wintertime included ( I had a set of mounted snow tires on imitation rims). I loved to hear that roar every time I started it and the fun and excitement of driving it. I kept it until 2009 and it had 125k miles when I sold it. I wanted a new 2010 Panamera 4S and my wife said I couldn’t have both. Now that is my daily driver and I still have it with 255K miles. I’ m sure you will enjoy that car as much as I did. I don’t know how you feel about DIY, but one of the things I liked about it was how elegantly simple it was to do routine maintenance without having to run to the dealer every time.
