Only noticed today that Herbert Linge died in January. One of the real foundng fathers of Porsche Motorsport , a driver and later development manager at Weissach he had a lifelong connection with Porsche and even knew Ferdinand Porsche personally:....

Quite the bio and history with Porsche and racing. I think PCA (or some publication) mentioned his passing recently - it was the first that I knew of or had heard of him. Thanks for posting the link to the article.
