A little insight from my experience so far... This app is getting kinda funny lol.

Left the Port in Germany....
11 Days later it was about to hit the Coast of Canada to dock in Halifax....
Right when it was about to apparently dock, it reset itself, and put the car back in the middle of the Atlantic...
Then, 8 days later, it was about to hit the port again....
BAM! It reset, and put the car back in the middle of the Atlantic.

My sales associate is not back from here Vacation, so I could not get the vessel name yet and track it.... Just wanted to share my experience in case people actually think the Track your Dream app is even close to being accurate.

On top of all of that, the MyPorsche.com website is definitely not the world's best - it can be ornery at times, especially the TYD service there.

As to the boat, Porsche doesn't track the vessel once at sea so pay no attention to the map they provide. TYD will update once it's reached port.

MarineTraffic.com is sort of decent if you know the name of the boat, but without a paid subscription to their site all you get once the boat is out in the Atlantic is "vessel is out of range". (They want your $$$ to get detailed info.)

Our Cayenne is on the Amethyst Ace that left Emden Jan 5th. Marine Tracking worked for a day or two while in range of shore comms but now it's been showing the same position in the Atlantic for several days. It says I can get satellite positioning but ya gotta give 'em dough to unlock the data! No thanks.

I'll assume the boat makes it to our shores. (It is kind of creepy that it has a name eerily similar to the Felicity Ace that caught fire and sank with a load of Porsches and other makes back in 2022. It even looks similar...) Yikes!

Great news. Once my 718 arrived at the local port the dealership was able to update me on the progress as it moved through the port and placed on a truck for delivery to the dealership. I even received a notification when my car was 30 minutes from the dealer. 😊

I had a pretty good TYD experience.
I also knew going in to treat it as a fun thing, not Amazon Prime. 😀

All in all, it's actually a cool experience. It's just funny sometimes. I will admit, I thought it was precisely accurate going into it, so I suppose I went into expecting as you mentioned, Amazon prime ha. Maybe it sounded like I was complaining in my original post, but far from it. Just thought it was funny.
