Parking assist ???
I have a Carrera on order which includes the remote parking assist. The spec sheet says it needs an i phone 6 with os 13 or better. My phone (which will be replaced anyway) uses android, so will android work the parking assist or does it have to be i phone?

When I saw this I started kicking myself for not getting that option, but then discovered it is new on the 911 for 2022. I'm jealous! When you get it, we need a video of the car parking itself.
As for your question, I am no expert, but I'm thinking the Android will work. I say that because Porsche made a big fuss about adding Android Auto to the PCM for '22 and did so in the same release that announced remote parking...

Also, the Cayenne has had Remote Park Assist for several years and there is an Android App for that according to this:

Now if you look at the Cayenne configurator, it has the same footnote about the remote park assist only working with iPhone 7 or higher and iOS 13 and higher. Can't tell for sure, but given all that, I think the footnote is really trying to say: "IF you use an iPhone, it needs to be a 7 or higher with 13 or higher."
