I just received a custom 3D printed Bezel ring in Guards Red from a fellow carpoke (thanks @Tom!) I really happy with the fit and finish and I feel it complements my Guards Red seatbelts. Looks like an OEM option IMHO. Love little touches like this. Here are a few pics:

I did a little torture testing on one of these bezels. I put a painted bezel under the hood on my 944 turbo (hung it on the cc cable above the exhaust) and rode around for an afternoon. Happy to say, even in the hot engine compartment, it held its own and looked good. It was definitely softer/rubberier but didn't warp or melt or otherwise change form. It's a new material for me to print with, so just trying to get to know its limits a bit. :)

A number of folks have recently expressed interest in these, so am reviving this thread to create a list of those who want them. They are ONLY for the 992 at this time, though someday I may branch out if feasible. No charge for active carpokes -- though I reserve the right to do whatever :)

I’m still waiting for my 718 GTS and can provide measurements as soon as I get the car. I thought several 718 owners were going to provide measurements? BTW, the 992 bezels look awesome and the color is spot on.🤙🏻

Are those seat inserts or a Porsche configurator option? Also, what color is the deviated stitching? Great looking interior!

Thank you! I absolutely love the interior. It’s a factory option called Sport-Tex. The deviated stitching is chalk to match the exterior of the car. When selecting Sport-Tex you also get full leather dash/doors. I also selected Guards red seatbelts and the bezel Tom made is an exact match👌🏼 It’s a really nice touch that most think is OEM, to include my dealer. My sales person called and asked me where I selected it on the configurator 😂

I've started a dedicated wait list thread below. I'll put your name on that list, but remind me what color you wanted?
