I've designed this tool for locking the camshaft on the 2.5l 8v +turbo.
Printed it on my Ender 3V2 ~1,5 hours and 11 grams of PLA at standard settings.

Why you ask!?
The camshaft can jump if you accidentally hit it... Ask me how i know.... :wtf:

It become a real ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ storm when i posted this on FB...

Some self-proclaimed experts couldn't understand why to use something so stupid..
The nr one thing that came up was: "The camshaft must remain adjustable when tensioning the belts."

If you finger tighten the screws, there is more than enough play in the tool to adjust the belt tension.

If you tighten the screws properly, you CAN lock the camshaft.
The tool works equally well for both purposes.

I need to replace the cover for the balance shaft and for that, locking the camshaft works great.

I just tried to send you a DM there, but glad you posted here. Some of the people on that thread seem to attack others for sport. Conduct like that is the primary reason Carpokes exists. I hope you adopt us as your new home. :) Lots of 944 folks here (myself included) and everyone is treated with the respect they deserve -- ESPECIALLY people who design and build a new tool and give it to the community asking nothing in return.
