I have a 2019 911 cab, and the sun visor, vanity mirror "covers" that flip down to close the mirrors both broke so the pin that holds them fell out. My mechanic tells me its a common issue and that you have to replace the entire visor for some ghastly amount. It is a chalk exterior with the two tone chalk and a dark blue interior. (the sun visors are dark blue). I have searched all the parts sites, and this forum for just the replacement covers. I even found a you tube video showing how to replace them. Does anybody have a place where I can order the covers alone, and be able to get that blue material. Thanks.

I had a similar thing happen to the driver’s side visor on my BMW. It was covered under warranty. I can’t imagine a scenario where it wouldn’t be covered unless it happened while you were removing it to be covered in leather, etc.

I purchased it as a Porsche CPO and even that additional coverage doesn't cover these. I have been to two dealers who told me the same thing.

Checking in to see if anyone found a supplier for the flip down lid on sun visor mirrors?
All I can find is used full visor replacement at $300...kind'a steep for a small plastic cover...
Any assistance appreciated.
