Cool -- what's the deal on that gas cap cover? Does it go over the original or replace it? I assume the little check engine sensor remains intact. Do they come in red?

This is just a cover over the original gas cap

The fit is perfect - just need to pare off the little ridges on the OEM gas cap with a utility knife -
The plastic is soft.

When you test fit the cover you will see the ridges either side of the top of the gas cap handle that need to be removed that allow the cover to drop all the way down.
