There All great fun, but if your target is a 930, you'll do fine with a good set of chips (e.g., Vitesse Racing),.....
Curious...
Is Vitesse still in business?
I get "Hosting account expired" when trying to access the site.

I would like to think that a properly sorted 944 Turbo would be able to out perform any 930 (with comparable mods) without going too crazy.
You are comparing two different animals. I own both a 930 and two 951 s.
The driving dynamics are very different. One is very forgiving (951), the other is called a widow maker (930) for a reason.
You can modify the 930 to make insane power, but plan on insane $. Most people, including myself, will stick to stock (no mods) due to the value of original 930s.
The 951, with Boltons and not much $, can be made very fast. I always enjoyed passing the 930, 993TT and 996TT on the track down the back straight of RA.
For looks. A very few cars can come close to the 930. One reason I still have it after 31 years of ownership.
As far as a daily driver or a long trip, the 951 is my weapon of choice.
I think the 951 is much easier to "make your own". Be it for styling or modifications.

I'm very sorry sir.
I tried several times to access your website, but all I got was a screen that stated "Hosting Account Expired".
Unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot of the web page a few hours ago. (I now can access the website)
However, I still get this on a "Google" search.
I apologize if I caused any issues.

I believe there was an update taking place this weekend, maybe that was causing it... Hopefully it'll clear up in a day or so.
Thank you for pointing it out.
The site is working for me, but for a few "this plug in isn't supported" messages.
That car was promoted and featured as being a 200K dollar car, falsely implying it cost that much for the restomod. Truth was revealed in the original Youtube feature, that looked to be produced by the owner, that the number was including all of the maintenance and original cost of the car since new. It is one of the cars that inspired me to the route I'm taking with my car, more or less.

There is a company in Connecticut called Flynn Motor Company that is apparently going to build something like this.
Interesting. I see illustrations and descriptions that look and sound good, but not a lot in the way of cars they've actually built. They do have a few thumbnails of various parts of cars, and I have to say these seats don't scream 'high-end' resto-mod to me...

I'd love to see them build great cars, but am wondering if they are currently a bit aspirational...
They are having an Open House later this month and I plan to attend. I met some of the folks at a recent Porsche event at Lime Rock Park. I believe that red car w/black interior belongs to one of the mechanics and is not something built for a customer.
