Hi all, I have an Arnnworx tensioner tool and flywheel lock for sale.
Sadly, the arnnworx.com site doesn’t seem to be operational anymore.
@Tom has a great 3D print alternative to this tool, but if anyone would like to add one of these to their toolbox here’s your chance.
I’m not sure what is a fair price for this set but I was thinking $125 shipped (for continental US)?
Included will be: Tension tool, calibration bar, printed instruction manual, flywheel lock.
Let me know if I am off-base on the price here.

Very fair price for a high quality tool. Bruce was charging well over $200 for these.

If you ever get a chance to check it against our 3D-printed tension tool, I'd love to see how they stack up in the real-world. I 'calibrated' the 3D tool against both the factory tool and my Arnnworx tool but would be great to see how they perform outside my little science lab of a garage.

Totally! I can do that. What material do you recommend for printing the Carpokes tensioner tool?Tom wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 10:48 am If you ever get a chance to check it against our 3D-printed tension tool, I'd love to see how they stack up in the real-world..![]()

Honestly, anything is fine. I use ABS so they won't melt in transit etc. but PLA or PETG would be just fine. If you use the original version without the threaded insert, the socket drive port likes to round out, so print it with high infill and lots of walls. Better yet, use the brass threaded insert for tool that will last forever.
(Happy to send you an insert if you want to try it.)
