Do any San Francisco Bay Area locals have experience with a dry ice detail shop in the area?

https://www.r20motorsports.com/ in the LA area seems to be well versed, but is too far to justify using them.

https://www.cryoblastsf.com/ and https://theblastinglab.com/ show up in a local search so thought I’d see if there were any testimonials or alternate recommendations.

This is not a concours car. There is just 30+ years of underbody and engine grime to clean up. Should make servicing the car less of a pain. I know there are cheaper and more time-consuming options, but I want a one and done.

FWIW I know a guy that dry ice blasted the underside of his 968 in preparation for a sale. The results were dramatic. Looks from the pics made it look almost new.

Dry ice blasting to clean undercarriage (or other areas) seems to be the way to go from effectiveness and results. The issue seems to be cost of equipment and cost/benefit ration for a given area of the country from a service provider perspective. There are industrial oriented services but not too many set ups for automotive enthusiasts. The equipment appears to be pricey (to me anyway) and the only way to guarantee supply in a timely manner is have your own equipment to generate and store the dry ice which really raises the investment cost to the provider.
From what I have seen its about 2K for undercarriage if you can find the service.

It is definitely an appealing service. Although, not cheap. R20 has several videos of their work linked on the their site. Amazing what dry ice can do.

You would think there would be a dedicated provider for cars in the Bay Area. It's not LA car culture, but it seems there would be enough demand. Of course, not cheap...
