My 95’ C2 polar silver resto-mod with 61k. When I purchased almost 2 years ago now, most said it was in great condition. In the pursue of perfection, I have spend endless hours and $$$. Lesson learned: perfection is the carrot we never can get…

Yeah, but now that it's done it looks great! (Forget what they say about hindsight being 20/20 ...)

And since I do all my own work and hate getting my hands unnecessarily dirty, the underside got detailed as well. Comes from owning motorcycles. Pics taken a year after I bought it when it was 15 years old.

That is indeed a clean undercarriage. Did it get driven often and if so, how often was the underside cleaned to keep it that way?

It had 68,250 kms (42,408 miles) on it when I bought it as the third owner. I started a preliminary cleaning and the vast majority was done a year after I bought it. As time went on, it only got better.

I have the patience to do stuff like that. I consider it mental therapy.

Any mechanical maintenance was done during the winter while it is stored.

Missed the part of "how". Kerosene, Stoner Xenit Cleaner & Remover and Facto AT30, a water based commercial degreaser.
