Car is having some downtime again to re-jig the fuel lines becuase of the 8an fitting on the front of the rail rubbing on the hood. Im going to have to reverse the flow and relocate the FPR over to behind the wheel arch. Radium do a very nice low profile swivel fitting, hopefully using one of these and dropping down to 6an for the return at the front will give me clearance I need.

In the meantime Ive been working on the seating situation, the stock seats have been causing me endless pain as the side bolsters dig into my hips. I found some Recaro Sporster CS on sale so I finally decided to do something about it. Ive mounted them straight to rails bolted directly to the floor which has given me some much needed head and knee clearance as well (968 CS seatbelt brackets used to mount the seatbelt receiver). They dont really fit in with the blue interior but I dont think there is anything thats not custom that will.

On a bit of a more serious note,a few weeks ago I went on a cruise with the Porche Owners club, and was very disappointed when I started getting clutch slippage when accelerating in 4th and 5th. This was until I caught a glance at the boost gauge and realised I hitting 1.6bar Im guessing the clutch slippage and a very rich safetly line on the top of my map perhaps saved me from anything bad happening. The Sach motorsport clutch plate was rated for 550nm+ so I can only imagine how much power I was making as it was no where near holding. I had been messing around with the boost control the week before but had only tested it in 3rd, learnt a very valuable lesson about checking everything twice and getting ahead of myself. 1.2bar may have to be the hard limit for now until I look into other clutch options.

Did you hear/record any knock event at 1.6 bar?
Yes Im have a bit of trouble with the ECU logging but it looks like at least one of the events there was 2 to 3 knocks on each cylinder. I will need to connect to the ecu to seen if which part of the ignition table its trimming. Looks like it might be a bit spicy around 4500rpm
Actually, it's very marginally over the threshold and I didn't have the MAP delta setup correctly, it could just be some noise, I'll have to verify with the headphones on.

That's where the torque applies, how is your ignition, egt, fuel and lamda from 4250-5000?
