No deer hit, fortunately.

But I will have to deal with this nasty windshield hit to the Cayenne. New $$$$shield here I come!

I joined @BlueLine in the "replaced my windshield" club. On my way home from LA I took a rock to the windshield in UT. I bought the Safeguard coverage of tires, wheels, dings, and glass, and it has paid for a new tire, removal of a dent, and a new windshield. It will also pay for repairing some curb rash on a wheel.

The ride home from LA was interesting. I put the summer tires on for the drive west. Having had no snow all winter, Colorado had a big blizzard in the mountains the day we were planning to drive across I-70. Ended up detouring north to Salt Lake, east on I-90 across Wyoming, then back down to Longmont.

Sorry about that. Seems like windshields, headlights, and batteries have all become less reliable in the modern era. When I was a kid, those parts almost never seemed to need replacing. These days, it seems like you need to change them with the oil...

I had my Cayenne GTS windshield replaced about a month ago. Since then, I've added new headlights, new front Zimmerman rotors with Hawk Ceramic pads. I also replaced the rear passenger door card with a good used one on ebay - the glue let go on the top of the panel and would catch on the window. I was surprised to find a panel with red stitching.

Next project is to replace the hard drive on the PCM. I have all the parts to clone to a new HD. Then it's on to rear brakes (Zimmerman/Hawk) and replace all the fluids (Ravenol)

Oh and sway bar bushings.....
