Just moved to Enid, OK. Anyone know of an indie to take care of our Phoebe (2014 911 S), Liesl (2020 Macan S), and Fritz (2014 VW GLI) in this area so that we don’t have to drive to OKC or Tulsa?

I poked around online and didn't see any shop in Enid that seemed fully equipped to deal with the more modern Porsches. I'm sure some of the local do-it-all shops would be fine for basic fluids, brakes, etc., but for anything that requires 're-flashing' or more complex/computerized diagnostics, its probably worth a drive into Ok City. I drive 50 miles to Porsche SF for my servicing, even though there are dealers and mechanics closer to me -- just seems worth the effort to take the drive a few times a year since they have IMO the best service team around. A lot of shops will take on just about anything that comes through the door, but buyer beware...bigdstwinturbo wrote: Thu Apr 30, 2026 6:49 am Just moved to Enid, OK. I’m in OKC and I’m not aware of any Porsche specific folks in Enid. Dumont’s in OKC has a good reputation if you need anything fixed. For routine MX I bet you can find someone in Enid.
On a separate note be sure to visit Eischen’s Bar in Okarche for some amazing fried chicken and beverages.

Thank you both for the replies. I do most of the routine things myself (about to do a complete brake job on the 911) but like to take them to a professional once a year or so to make sure nothing gets missed. I have also learned my own mechanical limitations over the years… I don’t mind the drive for obvious reasons as they are all fun to drive. And also cannot wait to drive to Okarche!

I recommend Dumont's as well.
I've been going there for almost 30 years for things I haven't had the courage to tackle myself.
They service all things Porsche, but the majority of their business are 911's.
I understand it's a drive from Enid, but it's worth it.
Also try Hideaway Pizza in Stillwater. It's an icon.
Cheers
