This past weekend, my buddy and I installed the MPL Slave Cylinder in my 993 and his 964. The cylinder can be found here: https://mpl-tuningparts.de/produkt/pors ... rzylinder/
This piece of kit is fantastic and really ups the perceived refinement level of the car by an extraordinary amount.
One of my biggest complaints about the car is that the the clutch friction point is very ON/OFF in nature. As well, the clutch forces are out of proportion with the steering, shifter, etc. On both my 993 and my buddy's 964, the MPL slave cylinder decreases clutch effort by such an amount that the clutch friction point is much more easily modulated and one's clutch foot action becomes much more granular. The ON/OFF nature of the stock clutch feel is gone, and driving the car at low speeds stop/go situations now is such a pleasure.

The MPL slave cylinder for the 993 is every bit as good as described.
HOWEVER, after 22 months and 3000 miles of driving, I had a rubber slave cylinder bellows full of brake fluid. The fluid had leaked past the seals on the MPL cylinder. I am lucky I found it while pulling the transmission to install a Wavetrac differential, and not on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. I miss the lighter weight, progressive clutch action of the MPL, but not at the risk of reliability.
The Wavetrac is HIGHLY recommended as it really transforms the car into a back road/autocross machine. And, I cannot speak highly enough of the work Bill Rader's team did in installing the Wavetrac and freshening my transmission. The car is a 1996 with 44K miles on it, yet the transmission was already out of spec for backlash on the ring and pinion.
