Full Dundon Exhaust w/ tune
Does anyone else think this seems way overpriced? I just can't get past that the build quality looks absolutely atrocious for this price. I've always heard great things about Dundon but to me, at least visually this looks like one of the worst built back boxes I've seen! Curious on other opinions.

I purchased Dundon's street headers, which included OAP's. The quality was excellent. The fit was excellent. The power increase was significant. Sadly the amount of noise was also significantly increased. Even with the muffler in the quiet setting it could be unbearable. It was most noticeable when accelerating onto the freeway with concrete barriers on either side.
I can't imagine what the full system would sound like but you'd better like attention - from everyone, especially the police. I know the photo on their website makes the muffler seem rough around the edges but it is fabricated by hand. The price seems on the high side of "commensurate with what you're getting" but not outrageous. Sadly, they don't quote HP but considering the quality, dropping some weight out of the car, improving the sound and getting a significant power increase, I think many would consider it worth it. Only you can make that decision for your situation though.

I'm a bit worried they don't have heat shielding as an option though they told me it doesn't need it. I'm also not sure what a "pro tune" is either. Do you still have it on?Ix_ wrote: Mon Aug 18, 2025 5:50 pm I purchased Dundon's street headers, which included OAP's. The quality was excellent. The fit was excellent. I had to sell the headers as I would not have been able to run with my local autocross groups. The car with that exhaust setup would have exceeded venue noise limits.
Are you referring to the heat shielding on the OAP's? I would say some kind of heat protection is worthwhile but I don't know that it is absolutely essential. Things get hot back there. Look at how the inner rear tires are always hot (showing up red):
A "pro tune" just means having the car's ECU retuned by a professional. That would entail using an off-the-shelf map by a company that has previously tested this model of car with this exact exhaust or having your actual car (with this exhaust installed) run on a dyno while it is being custom tuned. The second option is going to be more expensive but should yield additional power over an OTS map.
