I did.
I had seen all the previous episodes which set the context for the final film. Worth a look .

Thanks for reminding us all about this.

The reviews for the 33 episodes (plus a few trailers) and the just-released full-length film that you mentioned seem to be mostly unanimous in their high regard.

I have it on my list like so many other things in my life. Gotta find/make the time to watch it. (Working on extending the number of hours in a day. Stay tuned...)

I took three days.....

I would really like to see a video on how the mechanics/crew put these cars back together after a shunt.

Repairs/rebuilds of any kind at the top levels of all racing are unfathomable. Even just a small set of various repairs presented via short time-lapse videos would be fascinating.

I may copy this thread and place it in the Racing sub-forum too as a way to get it out there for those who may not see it otherwise. Maybe I've just missed it, but It doesn't seem to me that the Fassbender series has received a lot press or mentions, which is odd considering Porsche's primary involvement in the undertaking.

I do think it is a very good documentary and captures the challenges and setbacks. I am still a bit confused as to that benefit Porsche would have derived from making the films over several years. Typically I would think there would be a desire to show great success, but this did not happen unless you define it as his being able to drive in the LM24.

I wonder how this would help in promoting the brand, but glad they did it

I often find it difficult to fathom the Porsche "brain". It can be quite inscrutable and often does not make sense, at least not to me. And it's not just some German thing. Rather, my unsubstantiated hunch is that it exists only within Porsche and maybe is a part of what makes the company a bit different. Maybe the DNA of Ferdinand has never left - his presence remains.
