Any ideas on this?
We took it to an independent Porche mechanic. Since all they know how to do anymore is look it up and computer they had no idea.

Maybe post a video of the sounds? What I think of as true static is often a bad speaker or speaker wiring, whereas RFI interference can create a static-like sound, but is a different challenge altogether. Does the noise change with revs? Or when you do over bumps?

when we first get in the car it makes a static noise for a few minutes. There is no change with the engine RPMs or going over bumps.

We seem to have a vibration like a bad speaker during certain songs in our 2020 Macan S...........but it is only the right passenger door speaker. Must be something with those right doors, ha. We are going to have the Dealership check the next time we are in, but we do not have any noise like you are describing.

Tom posted something about a query regarding driving without the door panel to check for speaker, door, or grill rattles in 992's that might be worth pursuing when you take the Macan to the dealer. He mentioned a fix that was being done if customers complained. Maybe there is a possibility that it would apply to yours?

He wrote a bit about it on this brief thread here

The "certain songs" description you mentioned could be something loose or even a bad speaker, either of which might be vibrating to specific amplified sounds - just a wild guess on my part. (I'm always chasing rattles and noises no matter how small - I still have excellent hearing, fortunately, but unwanted noises and vibrations of all kinds drive me up the wall!)

Not a wild guess, I figured it could be a bad speaker or literally an incomplete connection of the door panel with the fasteners when installed. Thanks for the info Tom posted, as that will help diagnose also. I have not been too upset because over the years I have had quite a few speakers replaced and that is my first thought.

We have taken our Macan to an independent Porsche mechanic. I really think it has a bad ground. Or it could be a bad radio head.
The speakers are definitely not loose. Nor is a bad speaker. I’ve had bad speakers before.
