I am looking for a 993 or 964 donor speedometer.
In the process of disassembling my current unit to replace the plastic gear the the needle shaft broke.
Therefore, I need a donor.
Any leads are appreciated.
Thanks.

If I'm reading your post correctly, you're looking for a donor speedo to get the replacement parts you need. To me, it doesn't seem worth putting in used parts with unknown time left till they break. I would contact North Hollywood Speedometer in California. I'm sure they'd sell the parts you need to get your speedo back in working order.
As usual, this is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Last year, I had to have my odometer gear replaced, too. I used Palo Alto Speedometer, also in California. I sent the owner Hartmut my gauge and had it back within a week (TX > CA > TX). The face of my tachometer was also starting to delaminate, so I had him replace the tachometer gauge face, as well. I have no affiliation, but I was happy with the service!
