One dealer said we would be up next month for one, but they are 2025 now. With the price increase it would be another $5k. Part of that is that Montego Blue went from $800 option to $2800 option!!

So we "settled" for a Base E-hybrid which is now ordered. I just wanted the extra horsepower but she didn't care. It's not a big difference anyway. If we would have only gone this way 6 months ago we could have saved a lot! Also, configurator pics seem to show S brakes are bigger, but in a technical file I saw they are the same. Anyone know?

Configuring as first pic, and use all season tires but I'll order some after market GT wheels with summer tires to finish off the look in the second pic. We didn't order OEM because it forces you into options we didn't want. Too bad!

It looks great Danial - congrats are in order!

I think you'll be quite pleased - we certainly are, at least so far. Porsche has done an excellent job with latest gen 9Y0.2 Cayennes.

Posting pics and some prelim observations of our new 2024 latest gen 9Y0.2 Cayenne S that finally made it through U.S. quarantine a couple of months ago.

In our opinion, it's superior overall to the two Cayenne Turbos we've had prior to this one (a 2014 & 2019). The V-8 is strong, it's a great riding SUV with excellent handling (it's lighter on its feet then the other two), the new S sounds and looks great (much better than its Turbo predecessors). and the PCM software is light years beyond what I'm used to from Porsche. They have finally gotten a grasp on what user interfaces need to look like and how they need to behave. Outstanding! The fit and finish of the Cayenne is superb too, definitely meeting what one expects from a Porsche.

We equipped it fully, so the "S" has much of what is standard on the just-released GTS model.
