Building a throttle body adapter plate

Since I’m changing throttle bodies and the bolt hole spacing doesn’t line up. I decided to make an adapter plate. First draft 3D print to check bolt hole spacing. I’ll make some more adjustments and check again before they go off to CNC.

Looking good. How does it a fix to the intake flange? Threaded holes on the intake flange side? Why the bowl-shaped counter sink holes?
And what printer/plastic is that? Looks mighty nice.

Post the .stl in our 3D section if you are up for sharing it. I have 'Rigid 10k' resin from Formlabs in my printer right now and bet it would last quite a while as a test prototype if you wanted to give that a try.

It's nylon from Jawstec

The chamfered holes are to use flat head screws. Just didn't have any laying around. I might make them recessed for allen bolts. The plate will bolts to the intake as shown, with gasket of course. Then 4 new holes can be drilled and tapped for the new throttle body bolt pattern. Will just require a bit of an offset of course.
My new throttle body is 60x60mm, the factory is 62x62mm.

Ah, gotcha. Great printer and material! If you are paying retail for those prints, I'd be happy to print prototypes on my Form 3. It will even print useable threads for the new throttle body. With the patterns so close, will there be room for the new holes?
