Cell Phone holder?

Any recommendations on who's using what? I decided I need something as there is no real convenient place for it in the car. I primarily use it for maps, the bluetooth takes care of the handsfree and call for phone calls, but I find the maps on the phone to be way better than the nav internal to most cars anyway.

Looking for something that both functions good and looks good.

My cars all have GPS navigation, but I always end up using my phone anyway too. :) My wife has a cheap Amazon mount that clips into her vents, which works surprising well, and I know Rennline sells one that clips to the side of the center console. I always just put the phone down and let it nag me as I drive. :)

I'm an avid 3D printer, so if you have anything in mind, it might become our newest carpokes-inspired thing. :)

Ha. yeah right there with you. was thinking about the rennline ones, but I don't like how it interferes with either the PCM or the cupholder over there. Little Nit for sure.... I was thinking about taking the rennline one and remaking the mount to bend to the driver side instead of the PCM and see if that helps clear the view of the PCM up a bit. I think I need to order the rennline and try out a few different things in person.

Check out https://www.ipitaka.com/
I'm a huge fan of their products. Very well made and they work. Before finding this brand, I was just playing the lottery on Amazon.

I've been super happy with my Rennline magnetic mount - I did have to replace the actual magnet to work with the MagSafe iPhone but it's great and solid.

I'm a little annoyed they don't have a version that includes their induction charger, though... it's an additional $65, which is a lot, considering it's a standard sized ball (you can use any 17mm ball)

Interesting you say that..... I was considering mixing the two.. Using the Rennline mount and then ipitaka induction charger... Get the charger and then I get the mount I might be able to tweak to be out of the way of the PCM. Not at my car for a few days so its all in my head until I get back there of course.

I’ve done this twice now. Quadlock mount on a Rennline magnetic bracket. You have to use the bar mount from Quadlock and cut off the bar mount portion. Then use a 6 or 8 mm long M5 screw to put it all together. Super solid.
