I don't think I've driven my car in dark conditions for years. I occasionally pop the headlamps up and down when driving through town, to give the locals a treat though. :) On the subject of more light, there's a lot of public opinion against how dazzling modern dip beam headlights are now.
Very true - some I've encountered are almost blinding.

Beutiful car! Keep the Porsche engine is my vote👌
I'ver decided to keep the 951 engine for now. Since I've posted this I've added Recaro Sportster GT seats that will be getting reupholstered to a new color scheme. I also have 350mm Sebro rotors to go with my 996TT calipers that are being powder coated (most likely) Nardo Grey with white Porsche script next week. I also have my 996 steering wheel reupholstered as well, just need to install it when I get the time.

I bought a new set of Sebro 350m 996tt discs, and I was surprised how heavy they are. Changed my plans and went with 965 discs instead, which were lighter, and unfortunately quite a bit more expensive.

This picture really shows off well the contours of the Fuchs wheels. The way that wheel face transitions to the lip with the angled intermediate section is just awesome.
