Im doing oil cooler seals and while I have the hoses off I figured its probably a good time to replace the now 40 year old oil cooler hose on my turbo, New OEM ones are ungodly overpriced so I am looking at cheaper options, I have read some things about converting them to AN Hose but I have not seen actual tutorials on the specific parts needed and the process making the hoses, I may be making this more complicated than it actually is but with a part as critical as an oil cooler line I want to make sure I am doing them right. If anyone knows of any resources that can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I did this in 2025 - parts from Pegasus:
4 x 22MM to -12AN adapters

AN Hose fittings:
2x90 deg (3271-12-090), 1 x straight (3271-12-000), 1x45 deg (3271-12-045)

Seco Seals (I air pressure tested the assembled hoses and adapters and noticed some leaks, so Pegasus recommended these between the adapters above and the hose fittings):

There are a lot of videos around on how to assemble the fittings to the hose. Advice I got was NOT to use stainless braiding as it tears up everything in contact. I used the plastic braiding and sheathed it with rubber hose wherever it gets close to metal contact (like the towing tie downs IIRC).
Also - I did NOT use the hard pipe (951 207 112 02) that is on the stock oil cooler. I had one, but it seemed like install was going to be harder, so I didn't do it.
Trickiest part for me was to get all the fittings clocked correctly and tightened down without pinching or twisting the lines.
