Hi Carpokes community!
My name is Derek, I am a more frequent member of the 944 sub-forum, where I post projects related to my 944 rally car. A colleague and I noticed some pain points related to motorsport event planning and driving, particularly solo driving, and built a prototype app that lets you plan and analyze "routes" e.g. tracks, sanctioned events, etc. then provides a custom navigation experience that mimics a rally copilot, using your route plan/analysis. We're a couple of car heads/drivers with software engineering backgrounds related to simulation, manufacturing analysis, physics stuff.
I'm looking for some people that frequent events/tracks/motorsports with their cars, who might want to do some beta testing/provide feedback. It would be unpaid, the product is very early stage and we would use this feedback to even consider continuation. However, if we do decide to go live, we are planning on charging for some features and will provide benefits to those who supported the beta testing.
If you are interested, shoot me a DM with some info about yourself and motorsports activities and I'll respond with how to access/test.
All the best,
Derek

I couldn't tell exactly if your app is what we need. I have a group that does mountain road rallies and group drives. We've been looking for a good app for navigation (when driving solo). Most nav apps out there re-route you too often or miss a stop and re-route you back even after the group is gone. Is your app for track use only?

Spring is coming! We have added a bunch of awesome features to our app and nearing a complete version of the product that supports motorsports events. As I mentioned before, our app will eventually require a subscription for most of the features, but I will honor life-time free accounts for Beta Testers. So if you are interested and trying it out, reach out to me and I will onboard you as a beta tester.

After several weeks of closed/private beta testing, I have remove the password and officially made the app public. There is a subscription for hosting events, but since nearly all of the route planning and navigation are client side, that will likely always remain free. I don't want to abuse the community with advertising the app, so this will be the last update from me but if you ever have questions or feedback, you can PM me here or contact me through the site.
Special shout out to @J-Dub for sitting through a demo and providing some feedback.
If you ever tried to plan a fun drive, or study a track, the app is great for that. https://racerouteapp.com/
