I am looking for a mechanic (for typical engine and mechanical maintenance work for my 928) based in Queens, New York. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Welcome to Carpokes!

I live on the 'far' coast, so don't have any instant recommendations there. Hopefully someone will chime in with better info for you. You might also post your question to the 944/951 forums, since there's always the chance that four-cylinder tools will adapt to fit our V8 cars.

Again, welcome to Carpokes! Share some about yourself and the car, maybe pictures. Every one of these cars has a story, and all are interesting to me.

Remind me I need to snap some of mine. I have a drive planned for McKensie Pass this weekend. Lava fields at the top, very green on the far side. Dry high desert here in the middle of the state. With the river here, that's four very distinct zones in the span of 25 miles or so across the Cascades from here. Need to remember to stop along the way and smell the lava.
