Looking for clarity on those clear seals

I'm just looking for some clarity on those clear balance shaft seals. Part # 94410532100 - I've seen them referred to as "onion seals" or "thin transparent seals". My question is - when installing them on the shaft, do I push them as far back as I possibly can, or do I just get them started, and then let the spacer sleeve push them into position ? Or maybe it doesn't even matter... I'm just not sure which position is their correct position, and I haven't had much luck trying to read up on it. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Agreed, I don't think it matters, as long as you get them on there without damage.

Push the clear balance shaft seals all the way back against the shoulder don’t rely on the spacer to position them. They’re meant to seat fully before the spacer goes in. Just make sure they’re flush and not crooked.
