Went out to buy an ‘92 Eurospec 928s with a slushbox and it’s Euro only M28 11/12 300hp V8. To purchase it I would have had to register it in another state besides CA. I live in SoCal.
The morning I went to purchase it I also found my old EuroSpec ‘70 914-6 that had a 2.7 w/ Webers owned from ‘87-‘90. I remembered what a PITA CA made it to own a grey market vehicle because they confiscated it and “re-vin” it.
Fortunately I had a plan B and plucked the 968 already registered in CA for sale at the same place. Seemed like the perfect stablemate for my original owner ’90 Corrado g60 that’s been lightly warmed over.
Looking forward to updating the details of my first transaxle Porsche and 2nd one owned since ‘90.
