New Member; NOT a New Porsche Fan

Hi! Joining from the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. My wife is a 50-year PCA member; I joined three years later when she dragged me in, kicking and screaming about "tweedy-capped, arrogant purists". Then I found all the crazy, lovely, wonderful people of PCA, and I calmed down.

The fleet is all Porsches -- a '24 Macan 4-cyl for daily driver duties, an '07 Cayman S for second car fun, and an early-production (April, '82) 944 Callaway Turbo (the first one!) for garage furniture and ego-stoking show duty. That last one we've owned for 42 of its 43 years. Sentimental, that's what we are...

If I knew how to include pictures with posts, I'd show a couple here. Oh, well.

We've owned other Porsches. I could never afford them when I was young. I solved my problem by marrying a woman who owned a 914. There have been another 914, an '85 944, and three 911 Targas, of '68, '87, and '88 vintages. Yeah, we've been at this a while.
