Okay, now I know this question has been asked a million different times on several different Porsche forums, but I am unsure where to place the jack stands properly under the car. Specifically, I have four jack stands of this type (flat top):

I know for the front that I will want to place my jack stands under the inner frame rails, but for the rear I don't know where my best option would be. The reinforced square bracket in front of the rear wheel well along with the ends of the torsion bar seem to be more usable with traditional jack stands and not a flat top.

Is there any place on the rear of the car to safely use a flat top stand or should I just bite the bullet and buy more traditional jack stands?

If its any consolation, I have more traditional V shaped end on my jack stands and use a small block or wood between the top of the stand and the support point on the underside of the car to spread out the load for more bearing area and the V bites into the wood just a bit which seems to help lock things in place. I use the inner frame rails at the front and in front of the rear wheels as you have indicated above.

I use the flattops on the frame rails in front and the rectangular supports in front of the rear wheels.

The original rear supports were mangled, so I replaced the bolt in insets.

I only have "traditional" jack stands.

Thanks everyone! I was mostly concerned that placing the jacks right before the passenger wheel well would possible bend/damage the rocker panels, but based on this video, this does not seem to be the case.

Someone used a two post lift on my car once and didn't prop up the contact pad at the end of the arm which adds a couple inches, so the arm of the hoist did contact and bend the rocker. Just something to keep in mind if/when you take your car to someone for service where the car needs to be raised.
