2002 Porsche 911 Turbo type 996

4 wheel alignment previouly with 315 wide rear tires and all settings within recommended specs. Rear tires wore out, replaced with
spec 295 width tires. Tech says not enough latitude in adjustments available to bring settings within specs. Is there an explanation for this ?
The situation is purported to require two-piece lower control arms to bring settings within specs. The arms are expensive.
Has anyone experienced the same or similar dilemma ?

Found another alignment provider. Am monitoring tire wear VERY closely to determine its accuracy. Am willing to give the specs to anyone to test.
