thoughts on a spyder

so I’ve had my 2022 CGTS since Oct. only have 1300 miles on it and I’ve been (mainly) religious about holding it under 4000rpm till I get to 2000 mi and I can open it up. That said, I’m starting to wonder if I should sell it and work towards a spyder allocation. Never been much of a convertible guy but that body style really pulls on me.
i haven’t reached out to my sa yet, but am wondering if y’all think I might be rushing it without really giving myself time with the CGTS?

Champagne choices there.

I love the look of the Spyder too, but you might be without a car for quite a while if you sell yours now. I'd probably hold the GTS until the Spyder is locked down and they've bumped the deliver date a couple times.

Also, I really liked my car during break-in, but was just in awe of it after break-in. I haven't driven a Cayman GTS yet, but in general the GTS cars seem to be kind of the sweet spot for Porsches. I bet it's a hoot once the training wheels come off....

Thanks for your thoughts, Tom! my intuition tells me to be patient. My heart… that’s a different story

Update: I went ahead and placed a demand order for a spyder. Maybe I’ll get one in a year or so… or maybe not

What's a demand order? Is that like being on a dealer's waiting list?

Yeah Tom. It is just a piece of paper showing your name & address with a build code of 070. Doesn’t do much other than putting me in que. It’s gonna be a *very* long wait.
