Well, obviously not race results but starting the 2025 thread anyway with this bit from Autoweek:

"Nasr, Porsche Hope to Deliver Second Rolex 24 Win for Team Boss Roger Penske"

Lamborghini GTP didn't make it 2 hours , some kind of terminal failure .

Coming up on 6 hours left at Daytona . Still a lot can happen . I must say Oliver Gavin is doing a good job as part of the announcer team .

I agree with your Oliver Gavin comment and the constant shuffling is indicative that the cars are quite close in the BOP arena. A little over 4 hours to go and GTD has a Porsche in 2nd, Rexy in GTD Pro is down around 7th and the GTP Porsches are no longer at the top, but this occurred earlier in the race and it seems they may be getting a bit better mileage than some of the other competitors. It really appears that it will be another year where the last hour or so will see some extreme battles for the front with just car lengths between the winners in each Class!

This ending is going to be good! *edit* Is it just me or are the drivers being aggressive in every category?

Porsche 1 and 3 in GTP was great , yet I will admit I was hoping for coverage of the GTD race doing the last 20+ minutes where #120 ( Guven ) took the little green GT3 Porsche from down in 8th clear up to 2nd.

Sadly in GTD Pro , #77 ( Rexy ) got bounced around right in the last 30-40 minutes and fenders went flying. You could see a large green chunk flying in the air , but to the Team's credit the acknowledged crowd pleasing favorite finished the 24 hours.

Just my opinion but Penske needs to shake up their livery scheme on both cars . To me they are dull . But they run well !
