Phone mount fitted

Following JetFuelOnly recommendation and video I took the plunge and ordered a mag phone mount
for left side of my RHD UK 718CS.
Took all of 5 mins to fit and it’s really good, beautiful fit and solid, not cheap but less than the car

This won't work if the phone has a case, correct?

This won't work if the phone has a case, correct?
If we are talking iPhones, the case should say if it is MagSafe compatible.

In case it's helpful - this is the Anima Motorsports (
https://animamotorsports.com) mount. I installed one also and it's well made and seems very solid. I'm going to use it for a Catalyst instead of a cell phone, but same 1" ball mount will let you do either as well as leverage anything else that uses a standard 1" ball mount.
