I reviewed the Garmin Catalyst mount from Anima Motorsports, that product seems to be a hit! Now it can double as a phone mount - I review it in this video:

Weird, I checked and it’s public. Has views. I recycled it to see if that helps.

It was good 60 seconds after I posted the message to you, so probably just a one-off temporary YouTube glitch.JetFuelOnly wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 1:48 pm Weird, I checked and it’s public. Has views. I recycled it to see if that helps.
Tech - can't live with it/can't live without it.
Tech - does what it wants to do: frustrate and infuriate.
Tech - can I ditch it? Lol.

There is one annoyance with this mount, which is when you open the cup holder and put a can in there to drink, it hits the ball mount.
How I solved this is that I ordered the right-hand-drive (UK) ball mount, and then mounted it upside down on the right side of the PCM. I had to drill out / shave the mounting holes as the two bolt holes are not equal distance to the PCM.
After doing that I got a great fit. However, it does sit a little bit too low and in front of a PCM button (but I don't really ever use that button, so no big deal).

Oh, another minor issue with the ball is that it loosens a tiny bit from their mount (after doing the first track session with a Garmin attached).
You can feel it click back and forth if you grip the ball with your finger.
So I recently reinstalled it with some red loctite, and tighten down the screws. Now it's not going anywhere!
