What motivated you to make the change? Wasn't the Rogue DME also done by fTech? New features? Looks nice, and I love the screw through the middle of the cover -- kind of a take-that commentary on Porsche's folding/breaking tabs.

Joe needed to do an update repair to my Rogue DME as it never worked properly from the start. It needed an update.
I figured since the Rogue DME didn’t have the OBD capability I would just trade it in for the free upgrade to the F9T sport DME and gain the OBD functionality just having to purchase the OBD board

That's pretty cool! Does it work with generic OBDII fault code readers?

The system uses it’s own OBD software and currently windows 10/11
Joe covers things in his thread but I will have to re-read everything
Fairly user friendly from what I have seen

I really wish there was something for the 16V cars. I get why there isn't, and I know there are other options out there that are also plug and play (well, one option) but there's something appealing about the dedicated effort to the 944 platform.

Ftech9 is working on the 16v option if you read through the later pages of his thread.

Yes, it's been under development for a little while (over 3 years at this point, I think). It's OK, there's lots of cool development for the rest of the community, I guess I'm just jealous.
Cheers

Wow, must be a true labor of love. He should be a Carpokean. That's kind of our thing.
