I am new to the Porsche world. Three weeks ago I took delivery of a 2022 718 GTS 4.0. I love the car, but have also become enamored with the older a-c cars, especially the 993 and 964. They are truly works of art. If anyone has an air-cooled car, I’d love to hear about the car, it’s history, etc. Please post photos!

My first Porsche but one which I unfortunately let go a number of years ago. Originally a paint to sample car painted 6603 Golf Blue. Non-matching numbers 7R mag. case which I had built to 2.7RS specification. Its stance was great and it was very fast. Without aero aids such as a chin spoiler, the front end got very light about 90 mph. All it took was two blinks of the eye to get up there too.

Hello

Here are a few pictures of my euro 1986 911 Carrera M491 series, in Marble Grey with a Gray Green leather interior. The 911 has many Special Wish Options in the interior. The Marble Grey color is a shade lighter than the Chalk / Crayon that is available currently. I have also included a few pictures of my Chalk 2019 Cayman S with Agate Grey interior.

I am the original owner, it was ordered and delivered in Zurich then it took thee boat ride to port facilities in Detroit, Michigan arriving in April 1986. The 911 Is still equipped in its full Rest of the World (ROW) trim.

It has been driven to eight Porsche Parades around the country, from Colorado to Maine. I display the M491 with the original Dunlap tires on the body colored Fuchs wheels. I have a set of all anodized Fuchs wheels with fresh tires for driving on the road.

Beautiful car. . Is everything original including the rear wing? Would you mind listing the OEM unique interior, exterior and performance parts? Very cool!

Very nice. Did Porsche offer a duck tail on the 964 or did you add it?

What cabinets are those? They look very similar to my Baldhead cabinets, but with locks...

Not offered from factory. Previous owner had added it, and I left it on there since I think it looks good
