Hi.. I’m spec’ing out a new Cayenne Hybrid.
Has anyone had any experience with 4 wheel steering + air suspension option?
I don’t plan to do a lot of towing but was wondering about ride quality, reliability and the benefit of 4 wheel steering for parallel parking

No direct experience with that, but in working on my Boxster, Cayenne and 911, I would advise keeping it simple. Adding more complications just makes for more potential trouble, and these cars are already pretty highly-developed!

The rear axle steering on our new Cayenne that finally arrived a couple of weeks ago is incredible. I'm used to 4WS (on the 992 Turbo S) but not on a Cayenne and the difference from previous Cayennes is huge. The rear steering makes the vehicle a breeze to park.
And yes, the air suspension is fine too. (Have had that on two previous Cayenne Turbos and it seems to improve with each successive model.)
As far as more service/maint complications now or down the road due to adding extra options such as rear wheel steering, well maybe, but since all new vehicles - even those with standard equipment - are so loaded up with mechanical and electronic devices (mostly all interconnected), I wouldn't worry about it. One is as likely to have a system failure with a base model lightly equipped as they are with a loaded up top-of-the line version. The simple, stripped out bare bones new vehicles of past generations are long gone. We all know why but there's not much one can do about it, so get what you want and enjoy it while you can.
Our new Cayenne is light years above my expectations. It is a solid, very well built, wonderful to drive, exceedingly well handling, comfortable SUV, especially true considering the considerable size and weight. The quality is impressive.

Have both on my Taycan 4S. Love them. My Cayenne Hybird is on its way specter with both. Can’t wait!
