Thank you for the link, I will get some and report back. I understand what you are saying about the width, I assume each car might vary there due to age and use.

Update: I actually changed up the sizes a bit so its a TAD bit snugger fit. Some sizes have a different thickness to them. Added some more anti-seize grease, and she is quiet.

Before, I could hear the slightest rattle when it opened. I would say before it eliminated 90% of the rattle. Now, I don't hear anything. So far so good. Just gotta key an eye on it to make sure its moving freely, etc.

Hope it works for you! Let me know how it turns out.

I believe I used (2) 1/4, and (1) 3/8

I was mix matching a few of them to get the fit right ha. You will notice the 1/4 is thinner than the 3/8s.

Have you had any luck?

Two 1/2'" e-clips per side and it is quiet. Still a bit of side to side play, but not enough play for ta third clip. Not sure if they want to stay or want to eject as the valve opens and closes. For now it is a great trick. Thanks for posting.

Edit, meant to write 1/4" E-Clips

Glad it's working for you. It did take me a couple different sizes for sure to test out. So far, it's working good.

I used some heavy duty anti seize lube. It works wonders. This is the stuff I use.

@Tom
Was wondering if you have had a moment to work on a solution for this. I know we spoke about it previously on another thread. I think you had worked up a potential solution using a rotary switch a while back.

Thanks,
Jeremy

My desired long term solution: A three mode switch that has Always Loud, always quiet and factory programing.
Give me a day or two and I'll post instructions on how to make that switch. The schematic is super simple, the only trick is knowing the connectors/pins to use so you can intercept the signal going to the PSE solenoid without cutting anything.

Yes, I've made a few and am trying to pull together detailed instructions on how to make them. I'll try to get that posted in the next few days...
