Another update on the progress. Ron took a break for a few days (I don't blame him) but he's now moved onto the body!

Exciting and horrifying at the same time, I'll bet! Keep us posted on this project, I don't know of many guys near me who specialize in just painting and not collision repair, and NC is not that far away...

You've got that right, Ian!

Ron works at a large collision repair facility for his "9 to 5". The respray business (Javelin Motor Cars) is his "side hustle". He also knows his way around a car mechanically as he's overhauled his 928 and just bought a Euro 928 manual as a longer term project. He's actually in Salem, VA, near Roanoke.

Rob I bought a 30,000 BTU Mr Heater from Home Depot this past winter to have for emergency heat backup that looks identical to the one in NCGermerican's photo. Vent free, runs off propane tank, etc. I tested it and can confirm that it puts out significant heat. Can use supplied floor feet or mount to the wall as he did.

That's not my garage - it's Ron's (Javelin Motor Cars) in Salem, VA. I can reach out and ask him about it. I'm trying to get him on Carpokes more since he has (2) 928's and used to own a 944!
