Just an FYI that I happened to see this auction listing today on Hagerty Marketplace in case anyone is looking for a 944. No reserve. Only one day left on the auction. I don't have an inkling as to what it's worth.

Very nice example. Definitely garage kept - spoiler looks pristine, original leather seats look very good, hatch carpet isn't faded, hatch cover not faded and works, CRACK FREE DASH. Someone is going to get what looks to be a very nice example for a very good price. I would say in this shape it's at least a $12-14K car. I am not value expert though.

I most definitely have zero expertise about Porsche's Transaxle cars, but being a part of the Carpokes community has taught me quite a bit more than I knew before. Naturally, I have no idea what it's worth but it does feel like it's on the low side. As a 'No Reserve' car, it is going to sell to someone in about 2-hours when the auction ends. I just looked and it is at $9,000. Of course, the activity often heats up during the closing minutes so it will be interesting to see where it ends up.

$13,910....I think the last bid was 13K so the additional $910 must be in the listing, miscellaneous expenses, tax, etc.

I hope it's going to a good home where someone will enjoy it and show it off!

That was a quick jump in price! I had to leave the house with about 10 minutes left in the auction and it was still at an even $9,000. Three bidders waiting until near the end to pounce!

It went through several iterations of the two minute process where if a bid comes in within two minutes of the end the clock is reset to two minutes. I think there were about five steps like that.
I watched the unicorn 1989 951 on BAT with 3100 miles on it that went for $135K in January of 2022 the same way shocked with each new bid. I'm thinking it unfortunately probably went to another time capsule garage as an investment.
