With thanks to Crazy Eddie and Fremont Porsche, it looks like Carpokes will be in attendance at the LA Auto Show press launch of the 718 GT4RS. We'll be posting pictures and specs real-time so keep your eyes on Carpokes. More details on timing to follow soon. I may look into live streaming options too, and suggestions are welcome on that front....
Definitely if you can livestream a Porsche engineer explaining the differences between the GT4 RS and GT4 in terms of engine components, Tuning, induction and suspension components. I know, a lot to ask

Well.... there was a bit of confusion. We have tickets to a Thursday night event with the car, but not the actual launch itself. We'll still get to get up close an personal with the car and chit chat with Porsche people about it, but I'm sure the news will be full of details by then. Still planning to 'report' on the event with pictures/videos, and if there are any question anyone here has, by all means ask away and we should be able to get answers from the source.

Here's what happens when you check most of the boxes...
Typical build looks to be around $160k with carbon brakes and some common options....

If I could only get one at MSRP.![]()
In the whacky world of new car prices, $152k is a bargain for what you get. But I agree it's going to be mighty difficult for John Q. Public to get one of these at MSRP. There's a 'regular' GT4 at my local dealer right now with a $30k ADM added for a total of $174K. So I can only imagine what one of these might fetch. A last-minute family issue prevented me from going to the launch, but that doesn't mean Carpokes was entirely absent. Here's a Carpokes hat on top of the launch car, thanks to a quick-thinking @Crazy Eddie .
